METHODOLOGY
6.METHODOLOGY
The methodology that will be developed will be explained in the following sections:
6.1. Methodological principles.
In this didactic unit the methodological principles that are going to be followed are:
-To connect new knowledge to the previous ideas in order to students can achieve a good understanding and connecting the new knowledge to the previously one and they can found hierarchies and learning networks.
-To promote activities to develop skills to learn in an autonomous way and becoming to have a critical awareness, although the teacher often supervises and evaluate them.
- To encourage the students participation and creativity.
- To create a climate of confidence in order to foment the communication and
interaction process between teachers and students.
-To offer dynamics activities and fomenting the student’s initiative.
6.2 Methodological strategies.
The methodological strategies that are going to be developed are:
- Project Based Learning (PBL). This strategy involves students in their own learning. Project based-learning is a dynamic approach to teaching in which students explore real-world problems and challenges. It is a type of active and engaged learning, in which students are inspired to obtain a deeper knowledge of the subjects they are studying.
-Cooperative learning. It could be defined as the group of students working together in a common task, sharing information and supporting each other, in which the teacher play a role of learning facilitator and mediator. So the class will be divided in groups and work together in the project.
-Direct teaching. We will use this methodological strategy at the beginning of our sessions to present the main topic and give an idea to the students about it.
